cane back chair makeover in the works

Another one of those projects that I've wanted to do for 6 months is makeover these cane back chairs I got for a steal at auction. I've had the fabric picked out and Luke gave me the go-ahead this month. I'm leaving the wood the color it is and having my seamstress make some tailored short skirts. 

Kinda like this Mrs. Howard chair... but a little more tailored. 
Oh and the fabric? Well this dwell studio fabric won out :-)

 So freakin excited!
